Setting up Hotmail accounts in Thunderbird

I'm trying to set up a couple of hotmail accounts in Thunderbird.

However, it keeps asking me for the URL of the POP and SMTP server. I tried mail.live.com, but it didn't work.

Does anyone know the correct settings?

Also, while we're on the subject how do I go about setting up an RSS feed once I've set up the Hotmail accounts?

I can't seem to find anything in the drop down menus.

hotmail's pop/imap service is not free. only M$'s only app can connect to them by default. however, you can try this way for thunderbird

Use Webmail add-ons for thunderbird. Though I must say I don't know if those work on Mac. I use entourage on Mac and thunderbird on PC. For the latter, I use Webmail plug-in and then yahoo and hotmail add-ons to access the mail
