I've got a new iMac and am going to 'give' my partner my MacBook.
We live together so will share broadband and only have one .mac account (mine).
I created an alias on my .mac account for her emails.
My questions are on what would be the best way to set this up and how difficult it's going to be. I'm going to re-install Tiger on the MacBook to clean it for her. My iMac is running Leopard.
Can I set up Mail on the MacBook so it only picks up her alias emails while on the iMac I get all my emails from my main email and alias's or is it easier to create a webmail based email for her and should automatically forward anything to her email address (alias) to her webmail address?
Also should I name the computer in her name or just name it as mine and create a user account for her? Which would be easier/better?
Many thanks in advance,
R!
