Looking for some advise setting up a system wide/multiple Mac backups. What my network consists of is....

1-iMac running OS X Lion connected via Gigabit to Time Capsule
2-MBPs running Lion connected via wireless N to same Time Capsule (could be connected via Gigabit if needed)
1-Synology DS411 NAS box 6TB RAID 5 connected to same Time Capsule

My thought/or idea was to setup each Mac to use the DS411 to store its Time Capsule backup on; setting a quota limit for each machine.

Is this the preferred way? Or should I use a 3rd party software setup on my iMac and have it run all the backups? My wife is using the MBPs for school/work and CANNOT afford to lose any of her data. Looking forward to the suggestions...Thanks Chris
