My girlfriend has recently got herself an iPhone and at the moment we both use the same iTunes account when connecting the phone to the iMac. With us both having different apps we use it is beginning to get annoying having apps copied that one of us doesn't want on our iPhone. I know that we can use different iTunes accounts by signing out and then signing in with either of our accounts but I decided it might be easier just to create two users on the iMac so we can just log in and use the mac and iTunes like we normally would and this way we can set what apps or podcasts and music we want to automatically sync.
I've created us as users for the iMac and this part is working fine but I cannot work out how I can get all the documents and folders to show up on both iMacs. I am also struggling to find out how to add all the photo's to iPhoto as well. Ideally what I want to achieve is to have everything we currently have on the iMac available to us both and then going forward any content we add whilst on our login would just show up on each of our accounts but I am struggling to work out how to achieve this and am beginning to think I may just have to settle for logging in to our accounts on iTunes before we connect our iPhones, unless anyway has an easy way to achieve what I am after.
