Hi guys,

I am trying to setup a network printer that is being connected on one of my Windows desktop and shared through the home network.

When i go into add printer, it did successfully add it as a "Post script printer". However when i tried to print, it doesn't work. I have already followed hp's instruction and installed the appropiate drivers, no go.

Any specific settings i should be looking at?

Are you using a print server and if so is the HP a multifunction printer.

I had major problems in this department...for some reason there wasn't a print server that worked with my HP PSC. Not the macbooks fault but still wouldn't work regardless.
 
It's a HP Laserjet 1012. It's not running off a print server. It is hooked up to my desktop, where there's a home network setup and the printer is shared.
