Does this even work? Trying to set it up it asks me two times to allow it to autodiscover to the URL but it never works and it never ends up showing up any emails, it's just stuck like if it wouldn't work on Mail.

Any ideas how to make it work or should I just throw to the **** the Outlook.com email?

Actually after more re-searching it looks like it's simply not possible to use Exchange unless you're either on a mobile phone or the Windows Outlook client.

Outlook 2011 can definitely be used with Exchange (I do) but with specific, supported versions as indicated above.

What he meant was the free outlook.com mail service (replaced Hotmail) at this point cannot be used as an Exchange service with the desktop Outlook client.
