Just got my powerbook delivered this afternoon - I'm having trouble transferring large directories from my Vaio to the powerbook over the wireless network.

I have a crossover cable - can anyone please tell me what detailed settings I need to set on both the PC and powerbook so that the PC can be seen in the Finder and I can transfer the files over the wire.

Or should I use a regular ethernet cable?

Thanks - would love to get my stuff copied over so that I can start using the powerbook in earnest.
