Is there anything special you have to do to setup RoadRunner with Mac OS X? I've heard that all you have to do is plug the ethernet cable into your Mac and wait for an IP Address, but I'm not positive if thats exactly true or not. What if it doesn't get an IP address? Then what do I do?
Your help is much appreciated! BTW...I'm not setting this up for myself, its for a friend. I'm upgrading his iMac from OS X.2 to OS X.3 and will be erasing his HD so I will need to re-do his internet. This is why I'm asking. I'd rather not have to call Time Warner to ask for help as they're ****ing clueless about PCs, let alone Macs!
