iPhone Setting up second Yahoo mail account

iPhone 5C, iOS 9.0.2

I’ve had 2 Yahoo email accounts running on the Mail app for several years. A few weeks ago, the second account started just being a mirror of the first one in the Mail app. It shows properly in Yahoo mail on a browser.

I tried deleting and re-setting up the second account but haven’t had success. Can’t remember how I set it up in the first place. It won’t set up a second account under “Yahoo” so I tried it as “Other”. I can’t seem to get the correct SMTP settings. On a browser this account comes up under us-mg5.mail.yahoo.com.

Can anyone give me a step-by-step for accomplishing this?

I’ve found the answer.

- Add the mail account using Other (not Yahoo)
- Wherever there is a username required put in your entire primary Yahoo email address, ie username@yahoo.com
- Wherever a password is required put in your Yahoo password
- Put the secondary email address only in the New Account > Email field
- Incoming server = imap.mail.yahoo.com
- Outgoing server = smtp.mail.yahoo.com
