Hello,
I'd like to create my own VPN server on my Mac mini. My Mac mini uses simple 10.6 Snow Leopard installation (no server) and has fixed IP address on my local network.
Is there a way to do this somehow? I am comfortable with opening up ports on my Time Capsule (I am able to reach my computers from outside) so that's not an issue. I just need some tutorial to do this without OS X server.

In order for your computers to be able to access your Mac Mini from outside your home network, you will need either a static IP address or to use a Dynamic DNS service.

Having a static IP on your internal network is needed for your router to be able to send the data sent on the ports to it, but is useless as far as outside access is concerned.

You may be able to run a separate VPN server, but I only have experience and knowledge on Windows Server, Mac OS X Server and VPN servers on Draytek business class routers.
