1) Purchase $10 Go-Phone
2) Register online
3) Cut SIM down to mini size <-- You don't have to do this. Go to AT&T and get a mini SIM- it's FREE.

Ask them to transfer the phone number to a mini sim.

Is the pre-pay sim activated? If so, it should be as easy as popping the sim in and using the phone.

go phone sims are locked to the phones they come with for 6 months, or maybe forever.

Go to at&t store and ask for a prepaid microsim..

install the iPhone configuration utility and change the WAP to wap.cingular.net and then your data will work and you're all set.
