Setting which data goes to X and Y axis in numbers

Im getting quite annoyed because I want to do something simple and it I cant figure out how to do it in numbers.

I have three columns of data, the first column I want as the x values, and the other two columns I want ploted as y values.

When I try and make a graph numbers treats all three columns as y values, and there is no option to select which columns should be on the x or y axis which is absurd.

help!
