Settings a mind of their own - Late 08 MBP

Anyone having a problem with MBP where the keyboard light settings changes automatically? Sometimes after a restart or been on screensaver for a while the backlight keys settings change?

i think it responds to light sensor, but not sure.

There is a light sensor to the left of the iSight camera on your Unibody Pro.

It's a bit erratic, but not too bad.

This happens to me but only when I'm stretching at night and my arm blocks the light

Other setting problem I've noticed, when waking my MBP from sleep sometimes the display settings will be really out of whack and everything looks very washed out. Just going to the display settings fixes it automatically though.
