Well, I bought a used 27UP850 and am still getting used to it. LG software "Screen manager" from Apple store looks like it was coded by a 14 year old 20 years ago and seems useless. Apart from that the monitor seems pretty good. But I don't know what settings to use in my MBPro M1's system settings. Should Colour profile be set to "LG Ultrafine" (as previous owner had it) or Adobe RGB (1998) as someone else suggested? What about Contrast in the settings within the monitor itself via the joystick at bottom? PS I couldn't get any response from the keyboard for brightness or volume until I installed a wonderful open source app called MonitorControl!

I've got a 27" LG 4K monitor and I don't think there's a good solution for setting it up. You can try creating a profile via System Settings>Displays>Color Profiles>Customize (click the "+" while holding down the option key to get to "Expert Mode")…but the whole process seems weird and is a holdover from CRT days.

I've got mine looking decent but I wish certain things had a little more contrast (like text on the stuff in Logic Pro). It seems like when I try to make those better other stuff gets messed up…like video playback.
