I am trying to get an Airport Extreme network set up in my home office. My old system was this: DSL modem connected by ethernet cable to an XP sp2 box.

I want to add the Airport and a MacBookPro (with the "n" standard). I connected the Airport to the DSL, installed the Airport Setup Utility on the MacBook to set it up and was online in no time.

The problem comes when I try to connect my PC through the LAN port. I cannot find out how this should work. I've tried looking for walkthroughs online and setting up Internet Connections thru XP's control panel but haven't hit a winning combo.

Ideally, I'd like the PC connection to be always-on and ready to go, without having to login using the MacBook, which is sometimes left elsewhere.

Can anyone provide some guidance on what to do or where to look for help, please?
