My fiance updated her iPhone 6 to 8.0.2 and now the is a notification badge on the settings app. It won't go away tried a hard reset but not a restore yet. Any one else seen this yet? Or have a workaround?

I am having this exact problem on my Retina Mini. Just updated to 8.0.2 with iTunes today and I still have a badge, but within settings there is no sign of anything indicating the badge should still be there. Very annoying.
Did you not read? They said they tried a hard reset. I have tried both normal reboot and a hard reset, no change.
