Hi,

I worked with my new iphone for a day, but still stucked on it.

I have my old iphone backup with icloud, then i setup the new one by restore from icloud backup, it works fine except:

all the apps are just shown on the screen and need to re-download!

it's around 30GB..., I have all my apps local copy in itunes, any operation to avoid the stupid re-download?

thanks!

I backed up my 4s locally through iTunes. When I set up my 5, I restored from the local backup. It preserved all my app folder settings, so there was an empty row on the bottom of each home screen.

If you have a backup through iTunes, restore from that.

That sucks. I guess the lesson learned is to always back up your phone in iTunes before upgrading.

agree. i cancelled all the downloading request (input account and pwd), then start sync with itunes.

itunes says its copying app to iphone, but still all the app on iphone stay 'waiting'
