Just got a new macbook pro with a 256 SSD. I backed up old macbook pro to an external hard drive and used it as the source for setup/migration assistant for the new computer. Everything ~ 80GB was transferred in about 30 minutes via firewire 800 and everything worked just needed to log into mobile me and authorize the computer for itunes. I thought it was going to take 6-8 hours to transfer the info based on other posts - guess the SSD made it super fast.
