I've done searches through here, but haven't found a concise answer to this.
When transferring to my new MBA using Setup Assistant, what would be the benefits of not selecting to transfer the settings?
I have seen a few threads where the settings can be a cause for some of the issues of old OS's. And that it would be much closer to a "clean install" if you do not transfer the settings. But what exactly are the settings that I would lose during this setup? Printer drivers and email accounts?
I understand that apps can/do have their issues. But they are transferred via the Apps selection, and I will definitely want them to transfer.
Is it going to be similar to Settings if I transfer the Users?
Thanks to all. I've been asking a ton of questions here lately, but they've all been answered with great detail and thought. I really can't thank you enough.
