Setup for children?

All of us in our family use the same appleid across our devices.

Now that I bought an iphone 5C for my child, I'd still like to set up with the same apple id but a different icloud email account for her. How do i do that?

There seem to be no way of creating just an icloud email account for her. I have to create an AppleID for her which i dont want to do yet (plus she is not 13 yet)

I dont want to use gmail. Right now i can create an email alias under my apple id, but then i get all her emails as well.

The main reason is to use this icould email id for imessage, facetime and email for my child.

Ignoring her being < 13, why do you not want to create an Apple ID for her and set her up as a family member/child and you as a parent? Then you can share apps and approve purchases, etc.

I don't think you have an alternative.

How do i create an apple id for her? Should I say she is 13??
also when i try to create an apple id for her, it says primary email address needs to be a non apple email id. Does this mean i've to create a gmail or some other account for her first?
