Setup iMovie To Store Videos On A Seperate Hard Drive?

Hi,

I do a lot of video editing, and I was wondering if it was possible to assign a directory for the imported files I import into iMovie to another hard drive?

I'd like to just use a 1TB external hard drive for all my videos as well as iMovie imported videos, but I'm not sure how to do that as if I move the files after importing them in iMovie, iMovie assumes the movie has been deleted and removes it from the iMovie library.

During import one can set the HDD one wants to save the video to.

Capture should be the same, maybe you can have a look.
