iPhone 12 Setup with watch

I setup my new iPhone 12 by restoring from iCloud. Will my apple watches automatically be paired when the restore is complete?

I did a phone to phone setup transfer and it asked during set up if I wanted to use my watch with the new phone. I would imagine an iCloud restore would do the same thing.

I did phone to phone setup but it didn’t mention my watch until it was all setup. I then got the prompt when I started using the phone. Went in to the watch app and it said ‘finishing pairing’ or something similar.

You do not need to set up / restore with your Apple Watch all you need too do is setup your iPhone 12 the way you wanted it then set up the Apple Watch has a new setup no retorted setup is needed for Apple Watch
