Several artist´s CD can not be played as an album

Probably is an easy one, but I am kind of new. In some cases, when I buy a recopilation or an album, with several artists perfoming different songs, the album appears on my Iphone splitted on single songs, one for every artists, so I can not hear the complete album unless I make a list of it. Suggestions? Thanks!

Do you have the tag info set that they are part of a compilation? If iTunes, right click the song, select get info and it will be in the lower right.

Thank you dear, I guess I have to do it song by song, right? I have hundreds.

Unfortunately it seems so. I've tried selecting multiples, but there's no option to add them to a compilation that way.

As far as I know, you can do the Album Artist field also, if you don't want to do the compilation.

Just type in one album artist of your choice.
