Several watch issues ... Series 5

1) Compass: Learned that you have to have the Compass app installed on your phone for it to show up on your watch. So, I grabbed the Compass app from the App Store and installed on the iPhone. Compass app is now showing up on my AWS5, but it’s not showing up in the Watch app on my phone (in the list of apps). Weird.

2) I started downloading watchOS 6.0.1 while on WiFi .... download paused because I left my WiFi connection .... came back to WiFi several hours later but my download is stuck on PAUSE. “Resume Downloading to Watch” is ghosted. Tried rebooting/restarting my phone - didn’t help. Toggled WiFi off/on - still no help. I’ve got a nice strong WiFi connection, so I know that’s not the issue.

No problem. For some reason some of the watches didn’t come loaded with the compass app. Once you have it on your watch it does not show on your phone. If you have it on your watch and it is working you are all good.

it’s on the watch, so I guess that’s all that matters.
