Severe lag and lock-up...

Is/has anyone experienced this on their iPhone?

I have been having random issues with my iPhone not waking from sleep the first time I press the wake button or the home button, then having the screen lock up momentarily (for a good 30 seconds) before I am able to use it again. Then, icons I press on the home screen will not do anything.

Shutting down the phone and starting it back up fix this for a time, but it can start again very quickly or not come back for a week.

Restoring iPhone does not help. I have tried it a few times, and still the problem persists.

Just wondering who else has experienced this, if anyone.

Never seen this... and my phone has been through a lot

Faulty power button perhaps? Take it back to the apple store.

Not sure that it is caused when turning it on. It mostly occurs when waking the phone, but the problem persists until restatting the device.
