I found the new Napster commercial and I was surprised by the awesomeness of it. They took a very good idea for an ad, which is pretty damn hot too! Anyway check it out: http://www.napster.com/napstergirl. I am glad to see commercials heading in this sort of direction.
 
What a completely stupid (and not to mention very misleading) advert. It doesn't sell the product, it just shows a stripper.

i don't see any point to it honestly. and its tasteless.

but sex does sell. but i don't think that will work here either.

i agree - there's something missing from this advert, something that just makes it a woman dancing around on a table. if it had that certain something that made it sexy, maybe it would work a bit better - i think losing that contributes to the tastelessness.

All depends on how much she is charging for sex.

I guess selling yourself over Napster beats eBay any day.

i see no connection. no humor. nothing that makes is stand out at all. nothing besides a woman dancing. blah.

its not that its sexually blunt that bothers me at all, its that it doesn't provide any connections or reality to itself.

That ad doesn't have any redeeming features, unless it's to tell us that Napster users are fat, balding losers.
 
I didn't think the ad was bad my any means, relative to other ads out today, but it wasn't great. I'm biased though because I strip :).

Sadly yes. I wanted to do the same... then I watched it. Sigh.

Wii girl works much much better.
 
Seeing a woman prostitute herself out like that for an advertisement makes me lose any once of respect. I don't see it as sexy in the slightest, just detestable and useless marketting.
 
As pointless as it is it must work a little if we're talking about it. ;)
No one wanted to see Janet Jackson's overly large nipple either, but she was back in the spotlight after being gone for so long.
