I don't like how many cables my SoundSticks have. Also, they're the original version from 2000. So I am not sure they're that great anymore. I know the built-in speakers get louder (at least it seems like it with the treble).

Anyways... I think I want wireless. Maybe. I value bass because we watch a lot of movies on it, and music. Was wondering if a 2.0 system might do, rather than the 2.1.

Mainly, I want something that LOOKS and SOUNDS good. If its wireless, cool. If not, fine. Also, $200 is the limit.

Challenge accepted?
 
I think the SoundSticks are still very good speakers.

That said, I think you may want to take a look at the Audioengine A2. I don't own them personally, but I have heard nothing but praises for them.
 
The Focal XS Books look good and get good reviews. About £300/$400

Also, Eclipse do some great speakers, some that can be used on the desk.
