SFTP: Interarchy works, Transmit doesn't

I need some help here.

I'm trying to connect to an SFTP server. Interarchy works great, connects immediatley and I can do what I need to do. However, I prefer using Transmit, and when I try to connect, nothing happens, it just says "connecting..." then times out. I'm using the exact same server address and copied and pasted between the 2. Does anyone know why this is? Thanks.

Are you using Transmit 3.1.1? That version does SFTP fine for me under Tiger.

3.0.2, I didnt know a new version was available. Ill give it a try, thanks.
