SGP glas.t glass screen protector. Slight imprefection at the edges?

Hi, a dealer installed the glass protector for me. After installation, I noticed that some parts of the edges were not perfectly made. The edges do not look smooth. The dealer said that as it is a glass and that there is a thin adhesive sheet under it, it is difficult for the manufacturer to cut the glass sheet perfectly. Thus, it is normal to expect some imperfections. Is this really true?
