Didn't find any similar threads, so thought I would put this out there. For anyone that has used one for a while, does the SGP Neo Hybrid EX case scratch/"polish" the iPhone 4's metal band like the Apple bumper?

I love my 4s (first smartphone) and am very careful with it, but don't have Applecare+ and know that eventually something may happen. I am looking for a minimal case that will keep the phone nice for resale. I already have PS screen film on (which I love), but need something for basic drop protection. Been looking at the Caze ThinEdge as well, but not sure about that plastic scratching the band.

Here's hoping SGP comes out with the Hybrid 2 for CDMA soon - heard a lot about those tiny strips on the bottom snapping.

I received my SGP Neo Hybrid 2 EX series case today, and it actually fits with the 4s. Agreed, the new 2s will fit better, and is probably worth the wait, but with me living in the UK, I didnt want to fork out an extra £7 for shipping.

In terms of scratching, the case's inner is a silicone/tpu material throughout. There is absolutely no chance of scratching with this case. The screen protectors that are included (front and back) are also top notch!

I have the satin silver version and it looks great with the black iPhone 4s. Hopefully SGP will release the new Hybrid 2s cases soon! Hope this helps!

Thanks. Good to hear positive feedback. Anyone else have experience over the long-term?

My girlfriend has the neo hybrid ex for the GSM iPhone 4. She's had not for the past 4 months and has never had a problem. She frequently changes the coloured bands and still has had no problem with breaks or damage.

She's also dropped it a few times. The most notable being from around 4 feet onto a solid concrete floor. Not a scratch on either the case or the phone.
