Do you find they come off easy after 6-12-18 months?

I have one on my iPhone but i havent needed to take it off. Im thinking of getting one for my iPad 3 but want to be sure that it's not going to ruin the back if i ever need to take it off.

I was looking at maybe getting one of these, but then found a bunch of reviews on Amazon saying they shrink over time due to the device heat.

Even the manufacturer site says:

"*** This Product may shrink when exposed to heat."

Think I'm going to pass. :/

Thanks for links - interesting. I didnt think to check amazon.

Im not too worried about the shrinkage until it affects the camera lens. But i am concerned about the goo/glue reside that is left.

And if they know it shrinks why did they loop the skin around the camera lens? They could have just gone under it. I suppose you could cut the loop over the top of camera carefully before installation...?

I have one of these on my iPhone for about 6 months and I've had no problems.

Still, anyone know about the glue reside? Will it come off relatively easily without leaving any marking once you remove the skin?
