Hm, never heard of ShaggyMac 'til now. They'd win for me-- simply because they're cheaper (even after shipping is accounted for).

I bought a ShaggyMac because it was cheaper. The Screensavrz would be even more expensive for me since I'm a Missouri resident and would have to pay sales tax to Radtech. It works great, no complaints from me.

I have a Screensavrz. It's cool because you can pick your design during purchase and it can double as a keyboard cover as well as a screen cleaning cloth.

OR you could just use the piece of plastic thingy that you get when you buy your Mac.

It gets dirty and worn out over time...I did that with my iBook, but this time around chose to get the ScreensavRz.

I had ScreensavRz with my powerbook, as well as the sleeve, and i just orderd ScreensavRz for my MBP. The new ScreensavRz and a BT600 mouse shipped 20 minutes after my order  i was amazed!!:D A++ for RadTech

Well I got my screensavr today and while it is certainly nice I'm disappointed it doesn't quite cover the macbook completely. It looks like it is fit to just the screen but the photos on the site made it look like it covered all of the keyboard and touchpad etc. It's not really a big deal though and it really cleans the screen and the fingerprints off the case really well.

I have a ShaggyMac for my 15" powerbook, and I've been very pleased with it. It is a perfect fit, and works well as a cleaning cloth in a pinch. This, coupled with my Marware sharkskin sleeve, keeps the portable in tip-top condition.

Cheers

I've found a soft cut-to-fit T-Shirt from your local discount superstore works well. If you wash it a few times, it gets really soft. About $4 versus whatever ShaggyMac or Screensavrz charges...

But does a t-shirt work as well for cleaning?

It cleans the screen, I can say that. I've never used either of the other products, so I can't say if it works better or worse.

1. This thread is two years old.
2. It's been in the wrong forum for two years.

Uh, yes, I realize that....

However I am not the one who put it here and when you search the forums the topic you search for just comes up wherever it is. I'd be glad to move it where it belongs if you'll enlighten me. :)

Well, you can't (you need to be a mod), and it's nothing against you. We just have a policy about reviving dead threads.

Understood, except I am surprised that no mods ever moved it to the proper accessories forum at that time or anytime since.

Also, it did not say "CLOSED" like many forum threads do when they allow no more postings.

Finally, it can still be helpful, since this is a current product and people still have threads and questions about it. If they do a search and are helped, I'm not sure of the harm, only benefit.
