One of the most annoying features IMO. I sometimes just toss my iPhone onto the bed and this crap always comes up. And whenever I try to shake it, it never works!

Any way to disable it?

I forget it's there to be honest. I never see it come up unless I'm doing something else with the phone whee it ends up gettin shook.

I'm glad it's there. If you ever use your phone to write something long, then when you try to copy something and select the whole thing and delete it all by accident, that would be really annoying. I don't think it's exactly sensitive enough, though. I haven't checked if the sensitivity was improved in iOS 4.0 yet.

I've never used it...

Edit: Actually, the only time I've ever stumbled across the feature is when I by mistake shook the phone and the message "There's nothing to undo" is displayed.

Shake to undo is Voice Control's little brother.

this may seem a little off topic, but I remember reading for months/years thread after thread of people wanting Video Chat, Voice Control, Cut/Copy/Paste on their iPhone, and now that we have it, people seem very disinterested in them.

Back on topic. I almost never use Shake to Undo for the fact that I forget its their, and what's worse, the iPad has Shake to undo. Really Apple, you want me to Shake my iPad to undo, smart.

I've owned iphones since 2007 and I've never used this. Honestly I didn't even know it was a feature until now. Sometimes the undo typing box would come up but I never knew you had to shake the phone for it.

I think it's just another example of Apple developers being too clever for their own good. ;)

Good poll. I never use it to be honest, I don't remember it's there except those times when I do it by accident.

I have used it on rare ocassion. I prefer to just Select All and Cut.

I don't have to change the way I'm holding the phone to do that.

Same for me. My wife of all people discovered it when she was typing a text.

I could see it coming in handy for a long text or email where you don't want to hold the delete key down if you change your thought.

I was just going to search the internet today for why this nothing to undo message pops up sometimes!

Too funny..

Now that I know how to undo something I think it would be useful *sometimes*

I'm amazed people actually use it. Whenever I shake my phone, nothing happens.
