Guys, I`m kinda worried. When I shake my phone, I kinda hear something rattling inside, like something is loose. My friend said it was the gyroscope, but I searched and found nothing.
Can you guys hear something ?

You should hear something inside, it's the magic of the mobile phone. Just don't put your finger above the corner.

The autofocus camera will make rattling noises when you shake the phone. It's normal.

You probably didn't have anything loose inside your iPhone to begin with, but since you shook it, now you have something loose...

kinda strange isn't it?

Enough already

put the phone down, quit shaking it, go outside.

does the phone work? Any real problems?

It will be ok

I have no rattling. But I had a previous iPHone 4 where when I dropped it, it made the rattling sound. Did you drop your phone?

my phone has this rattle noice and my coworker phone has it too. at first, i thought that it is the power button and then thought that it is due to my dropping it.

don't just shake it. you just hold your phone with two fingers in the middle and tap on the end where the camera is with a finger. you will hear it.

Quit worrying. There are several things it could be, none serious.

o Slightly loose buttons

o The little mass used to vibrate the phone

o Camera bits 'n' pieces

If the phone is working well, you have no problem. If it isn't, take it to the Apple Store and have it diagnosed. But I'm betting it's absolutely nothing to worry about.

No...

I just tried it with my 3G and I do hear a little rattling...sounds like a loose button of something. Certainly nothing to worry about.

Most have said this...if nothing is actually wrong with the phone, quit obsessing over it and just use the phone.

I went to the Apple Store about the rattle I could hear. Turned out it was the camera assembly. Apparently this is normal and everything is fine said the Apple 'Genius'.

It is still a bit disconcerting when it happens as you think there is something wrong.

no that's OCD

see normal people when you tell them it's normal stop worrying about it, and move on to more important things with their lives

Your advise is moronic.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Following your logic, you should do nothing if your car tire is bouncing as long as you can still manage to drive.

It could be a loose cable not taped down, with the amount of shaking that just walking causes, you could cause the cable to come free and impair the use of your phone.

It's sensible (for most people) to address an issue before it becomes a problem.

Mine makes a bit of a rattle. I know in previous iPhones this was the silent switch. Could still be true.
