Only thing I noticed was this:

See, even idiots on YouTube hold it normally... in a damned video, no less. AND IN THE RIGHT HAND, EVEN, with his right pinky layin' on the seam. It's a good thing he's not actually on a real call... ;)

And no, there's no "white" iPhone 4 in the video, it's an iPhone 4 inside a "clear" silicone sleeve, has that whitish color to it.
 
Look at the 30 pin connector and the silent switch....the phone itself is white.

They're "fixing" them so they actually work... <hint, hint>

Would be a shame to see such a mad freakin' insane rush to stores one more time and have people immediately start having problems just as the default black model has caused.

Even Apple has limits to how much bad mouthing they can take. :p

While that would be nice wouldn't that be completely admitting a problem. I don't see apple taking that stance. However if they prove me wrong I would be over the moon. That would swing my decision from getting a black one.

But what does a software update have to do with the White iPhone? A sotware update that will just manage to give everyone lower bars and not sort out anything no less.

Because it'll probably come out at precisely the same time the "fix" does, how would I know? :)

It's all speculation for the most part... I can't imagine that just producing an iPhone 4 with some different colored glass or a different colored coating can bring production of such units to a complete screeching halt.

There's got to be a reason... so we speculate on it based on experience and what knowledge we do have, past history, etc.
 
While the dude appears to have a black iphone, Id' say who cares if he even had a white one.

Besides, who is this guy?
 
Even if I had the choice of a white one, I still wouldn't think twice about taking the black one. They never look quite right to me. Personal choice though I suppose.
