Shapeshifter causing problems

I have recently insalled Shapeshifter to play around with it for a little bit, but when I restarted my iMac, the menu items, clock, and spotlight were gone. It was also doing a prebinding update every time I started my mac. Some of my apps were also crashing. There were a bunch of stuff under console. I have uninstalled Shapeshifter but it still has the problems. I would really appreciate any help.

I experienced the disapperaing menu bar icons while using shapeshifter, which can be brought back through system preferences. I can't help you with the other problems though.

I would try repairing permissions to start.

I tried repairing permissions, but there was nothing to repair.

Try making a new user account see if you have the same problems in that account.

I did create another account, but it still has the same problems. I think I'm just going to do a clean install.
