Has anyone had luck with using ShapeShifter on their Intel Macs?

I know that SS do not have a UB yet, and they are 'apparently' working on it...(as most developer companies are saying)

Are there any alternatives anyone has used? I am really getting sick of the Mac Default theme... :(

I am trying to do the same thing on my MBP, I think we just have to wait until the UB version come out...I haven't had any luck with getting it to run on my Mac.

Yeah it's a shame... we are in a sort of lame-duck period right now.

I didn't want to install the PowerPC version on my iMac just in case.

Nothing official yet...they do have a Universal beta available, but it seems to require dealing with Terminal every time you open a non-Universal app. Definitely wouldn't be worth it yet in my book.

The possible data corruption and crashes wouldn't be worth it, either.

They're trying to do something not recommended. It certainly takes longer to break into a safe than to simply use the combination to open it.
