Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me work this out because I just can't get this to work properly.
I have a USB drive connected to my iMac running Lion.
I want to share that drive so I can see it on my Windows 7 laptop.
I followed the instructions provided here:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.6/en/8201.html
Except, it doesn't work.
Now, I should say, I have tested creating a folder on the Mac desktop and sharing that and it somewhat works. Meaning I can see that folder AND everything else.
But the USB drive itself cannot be shared.
When I'm on the Sharing properties, one thing I notice is that the "Users" panel is greyed out. I cannot make changes to it.
The drive is formatted FAT32.
