Yikes, with Bootcamp we're not allowed to have partitions on our machine. In the past we had partitions and then we would simply turn off all permissions on them so we could easily share files without the permissions hassle.

But now, that's not an option.

So, created a folder where all our files can live...but is there a way to turn off all permissions within the folder? This could get ugly...I sure hope not.

Thanks

(new iMac...10.4.10...etc)

Ummm, because I never thought of that?

In all these years, I've never needed it...but it does seem to do the trick. I knew I was missing something obvious.

Thanks.

The only problem with this approach is that we are still having file permission issues...manually changing the permissions just to use them is totally not what we wanted.

Problem is not solved with the shared folder.
