Share iPhoto albums

Hi there, I'm getting a new iMac soon, which I will use in combination with my PowerBook G4. Anyway, when I make an iPhoto album (or slideshow, whatever) on my iMac, is there any way to share it to my PowerBook, either via network, or simply by moving some files. For instance, I could make a super slideshow on the iMac, and then I want to show that slideshow to a friend. I take my laptop with me, so then I need the slideshow to be transfered to my laptop.
