Hi guys,
Since installing the public beta of El Capitan my share menu stopped working. I get all of the usual share options but selecting one doesn't do anything. In safari, when I try to share a link the current tab stops responding and I'm not even able to close it without restarting safari. The sharing dialogue never show up. To make things weirder I only have two widgets available in the notification area, Today and Tomorrow, no other apple widgets, no third party widgets.
Hopefully deleting some pref files should do the trick, and that's the reason I'm writing.
(I have a history of weird things getting broken while installing the betas. In the Yosemite beta the sharing tab in Photos didn't work even after the release of the final version, ended up doing a clean install. Would like to avoid that this time around so any help is appreciated).
