Share my library on my local network

I activated "Share my library on my local network" and emphasized "Share entire library" but cannot see it on my other Mac.

Shared libraries only show up if put my Apple ID & password for "Home Sharing".

Is it me but shouldnt I be able to Share my library on my local network without resorting to having to type in my Apple ID & password?

OS X 10.9.5 and iTunes 11
