My wife and I have two separate AppleIDs that we use to sign into iCloud. We have a family sharing iCloud storage account set up. In iBooks, she can see the books that I've purchased in iBooks.
However, we also have a whole bunch of PDFs (kids sports schedules, school telephone directories, car pool schedules, etc) that we keep as PDFs in iBooks. We'd like to be able to have access to all of these PDF files in iBooks across both of our accounts. When signed into her AppleID/iCloud account, she cannot see the PDFs that I have uploaded to iBooks.
If I sign out her iCloud account and sign in with mine, she can see the PDFs but not when signed in on her account. I've looked into sharing the files through iCloud File sharing but I've found functionality limited. You can share an individual file at a time. If I share a folder, she receives a .zip file of the folder that does not get updated if I add a new document. I've side-loaded a couple of files using Dropbox but this doesn't seem like the most efficient approach.
Anyone have any suggestions on how I might go about sharing these files across our accounts?
