Share screen wirelessly on HDTV? DLNA? Panasonic Viera HDTV

I just bought a new HDTV, the panasonic viera TC-L42E50

Right now I can hook up my computer to the TV via HDMI/minidisplay adaptor, but I would like to do so wireless. The TV is wireless ready (needs a dongle for wireless, but can access internet now via ethernet cable) and I have it wired to my router. All the internet features work.

It is also DLNA ready, but I don't know much about DLNA and if this will help me use the HDTV as a monitor for my computer wirelessly.

Can anyone help?

Intel has something in PCs called WIDI that does this but I'm not sure if it's compatible with macs.

You would need to buy an apple tv($100).

And use airplay when mountain lion comes out next month.
