iPhone 12 Pro “Share to Instagram” choice mysteriously missing?

When you go into photos and choose one to share to Instagram, do you guys get this “share as post or story” choice? Because I’m getting it on iPhone X and not getting it on iPhone 12 Pro, even though both are running the same 14.2.1.

I can share some photos to Instagram, but not all. I hadn't noticed this until now. Unsure what the issue with sharing is.

Obviously I can share from directly in the IG app, bit it's hit & miss via Photos. Very strange.

same thing, share to Instagram works sometimes, and sometimes doesn’t work completely. And for some reason there is no way to share photos as stories, only as posts. Is anyone else having these problems?

Instagram just made a number of changes to how the site works, so that might be affected it.

I haven’t been able to share from photos to Instagram at all on my 12 Pro.

February 2021 with iOS 14.3 (on iPhone 12 Pro Max and 11 Pro) and ’Copy to Instagram’ is still missing from the share sheet 🤔
