iPhone SE (2020) Shared Albums stopped working - advise please?

Hi all,


Shared albums was working fine for a month, 3/4 photos a day, but has recently stopped working. OThers cannot view the photos and no longer get notifications etc.

How do I get it working again?

I saw something about Apple limits on it when it 1st stopped, and assumed that was the issue. However, I checked today, and no way am I hitting the limits.


I looked online for a fix, not great search.

Is the below a legit way to go?

I’m a bit nervous about logging out the phone, even if there is allegedly an option to keep data on the iphone...

I am backing up my phone now before trying anything!

In general I think it's best to start with the steps from Apple support articles, and then branch out from there if none of the steps work. A tip is at the end of the support article there is a link to related questions in the Apple community discussions and sometimes there is helpful info there.

If Shared Albums aren't working - Apple Support

New shared album invitations show up in Notification Center. If you can't find your invitation there, you can check the Photos app.
