Hey guys,

I was wondering if any of you could help me out with, a couple of months ago we had both smb and afp set as connection protocols to our shared drives connect to our server. But we noticed that smb wasn't refreshing a fast as afp. So we made the decision to switch just afp and turn of smb file sharing on those drives. However now we can only connect to the servers with ⌘K and then drawing the icons onto the right hand side of the dock. This is easy enough for me as IT to remember but lots of people can't remember it. They are used to connecting through the Shared bar in the Finder window, but since switching to just afp that now doesn't work.

Does anyone have any idea on how to solve this inconvenience?
Thanks,
Miles K
[doublepost=1468835481][/doublepost]No Worries guys I have found the fix, turning off connection through smb in System Prefs > Sharing > File Sharing.
Hopefully no windows users come in and need to connect to our servers....

Thanks
MK
