Shared Calendar data not showing up in Catalina

I have an iCloud Calendar I share with my mate. It shows up in the Calendars sidebar, but I don't see any entries. If I create an entry, it shows up fine, and shows up on other devices, but the older data.

I have unchecked the calendar to try and force a refresh. I have tried disabling and enabling the account. I have hit cmd-R to force a refresh.
Also, adding an event on another device shows up on the Mac fine. It appears to only be legacy data.
Any ideas.
