I really didn't know how to create that title to accurately describe what I'm going here. Basically, I have a Mac Pro with 4 HD's. I renamed them by right clicking on them in the sidebar of a finder window. Everything was perfect, nothing was wrong. Later, I was on my MacBook Pro and I share between both Macs all the time. I pull up the finder path for my mac pro and it shows double the mount of HD's, half with the new names, the other half with the old. It's still shows up correctly on my Mac Pro. I've taken a screen shot of both. I'm thinking the answer could be to just eject the disks with the old name, but I'm afraid each would get rid of both drives. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks in advance!
