Shared computers discovery in Finder

Is there a way in Finder to refresh the list of shared computers on the network? I am trying to connect my macbook to my macbook pro (both Leopard) but Finder isn't showing my macbook pro in the Network section. I know I can command+K to Go to Server, but I don't happen to know it's IP without getting on that computer. Surely there's a way for it to re-find available computers on the network
